RISTORANTE VON OETINGER – ITALIAN WEDDING ITALIENISCHE HOCHZEIT
Vibrant Italian Wedding from Getting Ready up to close to Midnight.
During getting ready when I was taking some detail shots in the bedroom I heard horse hoofs outside on the street and I thought to myself that is not really possible who would ride in town and in this narrow one way street. I looked out the window and there it was: a wedding horse carriage, a surprise by the groom to take the bride to church. She started screaming full of joy and excitement.
The ceremony – bilingual in Italian and German – was as one can expect full of laughter mixed with tears and laughter and took place at the Johanneskirche in Erbach, one of my favourite churches here.
The couples photo session at Kloster Eberbach: We wanted to takes some shots in the Basilika, but were told we could probably not take any as the choir was rehearsing. We tiptoed and only used sign language to communicate.
The couple was taken away by the beautiful music and started dancing to the melodies that echoed in the quiet Basilika.
We took a few beautiful shote of the couple with the choir as backdrop.
The celebrations took of immediately when we came back to the location Ristorante Von Oetinger, dances that started during the afternoon, interrupted by the courses of the evening dinner and emotional speeches and then dances again ….
Location: Johanneskirche Erbach im Rheingau
