She was Dutch and her parents did not give her permission to marry a German, after surviving WWII. But both in love and free spirited, decided to escape to England and get married there in secret, just the two of them.

This is the story of my parents.

They never lost their love for each other, travelled a lot and shared their passion for the world. They lived together until they died.
